Set up TestBoard in ChatGPT

You can use TestBoard in ChatGPT to create test cases, organize testing, and review progress through a conversation. Work with the test data connected to your monday.com boards without switching between screens for every task.

The connection is powered by TestBoard MCP, which lets ChatGPT work with TestBoard on your behalf.

See how to find a board, create test cases for a work item, organize them into a test set, and get a summary of a test cycle.

What you can do

• Find your testing work: Search boards, work items, test cases, sets, cycles, and runs.
• Create test cases: Describe what you want to test and save cases with steps and expected results.
• Organize coverage: Group cases into test sets and link them to relevant monday.com items.
• Plan testing: Create test cycles from existing test sets or work items.
• Review progress: Read saved test results and ask for a summary of your testing progress.

For example, you could ask:

“Find the Software Release QA board and show me the Mobile Push Notification item.”

“Create two test cases for this item, including steps and expected results.”

“Show me a summary of the Mobile Push Notification test cycle.”

TestBoard MCP manages test records and reads saved results. It does not run automated tests or interact with your application to perform the test steps.

Request access

TestBoard MCP is available through assisted setup while its public listing is awaiting OpenAI review and publication. It is not yet available for everyone to discover and install from the directory.

Your existing access still applies

You connect using your monday.com account. TestBoard checks your access to the requested board, and supported actions remain subject to the relevant permissions. Viewer and guest accounts cannot use the integration.
