  2. Go to the TestBoard Test Cases view.
  3. Select the test cases you want to execute.
  4. Click the three-dot menu and select New Test Cycle.

2. Create and start the test cycle

  1. In the New Test Cycle dialog, enter a cycle name and select the platform and environment.
  2. Review and update the start date and end date for your cycle.
  3. Select the appropriate board group.
  4. Review the test cases included in the cycle. Use Select all to include every case, or select and deselect individual cases.
  5. Click Create and Start.

Your test cycle is created and ready for execution.

3. Execute the test cases

  1. Follow the instructions for the first test step.
  2. In Actual Result, record what happened during execution.
  3. Attach a screenshot if needed. You can resize the attached image.
  4. Set the step result, such as Pass if the step completed successfully.
  5. Continue through the remaining steps, recording results and adding evidence as needed.

When all steps are marked Pass, the overall test case result is Pass.

4. Record results directly

You can also set the overall test case result without entering an actual result for each step.

If all steps have passed, you can apply Pass to all steps at once instead of updating each step individually.
