Creating Your First Test Case

Create a test case directly from a Monday item. Once created, the test case is automatically linked to that item.

Before you begin, make sure the app is installed and configured. (Install TestBoard)

1. Open the item that you want to test.
2. Go to the TestBoard - Test Cases view.
3. Click on New Test Case button.
4. Fill in the Test Case details:
   • Enter a Test Case headline.
   • Select a Priority.
   • Set the Case Type
   • Add a Description explaining what you want to verify.
   • Enter the Preconditions that must be met before running the test.
5. Add a test step and its Expected Result. Include Test Data if needed.
6. Click Create Test Case button.
7. Open the newly created test case to review its details and confirm that it is linked to the Monday item.
